Kimberly, an MDS Director in Graceville, Florida, has spent more than 20 years caring for the elderly and supporting families through some of their most difficult moments. After dedicating her career to serving others, she is now facing a challenge of her own.
She is currently battling Stage 3 rectal cancer while undergoing chemotherapy and radiation. Even in the middle of treatment, her outlook remains grounded in faith and resilience.
She shared, “I am very thankful not only for my friends and family who pray and are there for me, but also for my church and work family who continue to lift me up. I know God has me, and I believe I will overcome this. I hope to be a testimony and encouragement to someone else facing cancer.”
In response, Two or More Foundation committed an initial $5,000 to support Kimberly and her family. This effort reflects the purpose behind the foundation, showing up for caregivers when they find themselves in need of care.
Stories like this are a reminder of what can happen when people come together with intention.
