From Caregiver to Patient: Standing With Lola

Lola, a dedicated Dietary Manager at Bay Breeze Rehabilitation in Florida, built her reputation on care, leadership, and a genuine connection with those around her. She quickly became a trusted and valued presence among both residents and staff.

Earlier this year, Lola faced a sudden medical emergency, including a pulmonary embolism and a clot in her leg, requiring surgery and ongoing recovery. During this time, she made the decision to continue her therapy at the same facility where she had served others, a reflection of her deep connection to the community she helped support.

As the primary caregiver for her family, time away from work created added financial pressure during her recovery.

Through the generosity of this community, Two or More Foundation was able to provide $4,000 to help cover essential expenses while she focuses on healing.

This is what it looks like to care for those who have spent their lives caring for others, offering steady, practical support when it matters most.
